Unable to edit and save patron records while SIS job is running

Question

Why can patron/user records not be edited while the SIS job is running?

Answer

Since the SIS job's function is to edit user records, it is not advisable to try working with the same records manually in the user interface while this process runs.

This can cause errors such as being unable to save the records, and the records themselves disappearing temporarily.

It is recommended that any manual work in user management should be done when this particular process is not running.
