Update Inventory job does not create multiple items – why?

Answer

Multiple items are not created because in the import profile library and location field are mapped to more than one field, or item fields are mapped to more than one field: in such cases, only one item will be created.
For example, Number of Items, Barcode and Item Policy fields are mapped to 949 and Alternative Call Number to 098.
