    Update end of activity for work orders

    Description

    We have a lot of work orders with an "End of activity" date that will soon be reached. We can update these dates one by one, but that would take too long. Can we update the date in bulk so that no harm will be done after this date?

    Resolution

    The "End of activity" date can't be changed in bulk but only line by line by either editing the work order line or using the "update expiry" function.
    But please note that there is no process connected to this date. So when the date is passed, nothing will happen. It is unlike a fulfilment request that will be moved to an expired hold shelf. For work orders, the "end of activity" is just a date that can be used in reports to determine which work orders take longer than expected.

      • Update Bib records in bulk without making a change to force a reindex or publish
      • "Update Inventory" doesn't update item barcodes, proxy information, etc.
