In a fulfillment unit, you can select an "On shelf request policy" in the first tab. What if we want to have different "On shelf request policies" for the same location? We tried to assign the same location to different fulfillment units but that is not allowed by the system.

Resolution

A fulfillment unit is defined as a group of locations sharing the same fulfillment rules. It is not possible to assign a location to several fulfillment units.

But as for the on shelf policy, there is quite an easy way. In every Terms of Use for requests you will find a policy "On Shelf Request Policy". This is either "Use fulfillment unit definition" or you can select a different option.
