    Description

We want to use a value containing a pipe character (|) in a normalization rule but it does not appear to work.

    Resolution

The pipe character is used as the Boolean operator "OR".

In cases where the pipe symbol may be part of the value compared, you need to use four backslashes (\\\\) as the escape string. Just use them as prefix to your pipe character.: \\\\|
