    Question

A flag "Automatically activate new portfolios" exists in the activation wizard - what is the difference in behavior between Selective and Aggregator Packages?

    Answer

Aggregator and Selective packages behave alike if set to automatically activate new portfolios.

    Additional Information

Originally, automatic activation was not enabled for Selective packages.

This changed with the December 2013 Release:

"The option to automatically activate new portfolios associated with a service is now available for selective packages in addition to aggregator packages. This option can be configured in the Activation Wizard for new services, and in the Electronic Service Editor for existing services".
