    Question

What is the difference between User Manager and User Administrator Roles?

    Answer

These two roles are very similar, with the main difference being that the User Administrator has access to user management configuration menus. Because of this similarity in the roles’ privileges, it is possible to use the User Administrator role as a ‘super user manager’ and assign this role only to library staff, while using the User Manager role for desk workers. Note the User Manager role has access to many actions that Ex Libris can turn off for you. For example, this role may be assigned without the privilege to manage roles.
