    Question

What is the difference between a Lost Item Fine and a Lost Item Process Fee?

    Answer

When working with fine/fee management in Alma, there is no difference between the Lost Item Fine and the Lost Item Process Fee. When configuring the Terms of Use Policies for a title/item, it will refer to the Lost Item Fine. But when this fine is actually charged to a patron's account, it will be listed as a Lost Item Process Fee in their account, Analytics, and any notifications sent that refer to the fine/fee.
