    Problem Symptoms:
When duplicating an item, it is instantly saved even if you click "Cancel" instead of "Save".

    Cause:
    Works as designed.

    Resolution:
This behavior is by design. When pressing on 'Duplicate' the duplicated item is being created (you also get the relevant message in the resource editor). Then the system automatically redirects the user to edit the new duplicated item. The 'Cancel' operation for that screen is for the EDIT operation, not for the DUPLICATE operation.

In the case that the duplication action was performed in error, you would need to delete that item.
