    Question

When multiple items can fulfill a lending request but only one is available, why is the available item not automatically marked as requested?

    Answer

    * When there is more than one item able to fulfill the resource sharing lending request, the item is not marked as requested or unavailable, even if the item is manually selected.

    * Alma works under the assumption that an item can be returned and made available to ship physically at any time.
