Question

We confirmed connection between Alma and SHAREit/AutoGraphics, through Z39.50.  We tested sending a request through SHAREit for a resource that is available in our collection and it was immediately routed to RETRY and did not go through. What is the reason?

Answer

Tech support through Auto-graphics has solved the problem. When SHAREit is set to OPAC (via the Self-Defined button), two 852 fields appear.  The solution was to change to USMARC.  The record has now a single 852 field, and requests are passing through successfully.
