    Why does adding a subfield result in two spaces between the sub-field and the content?

    Answer

    The MD editor will automatically enter a space after a sub-field.

    For example, you have two options when entering a sub-field:
    1) Press F9, then 2, then type abcd
    2) Type $$2abcd
    Regardless of method, the result is the same, both will appear as $$2 abcd
