    Question

Why does the Public Name of an Electronic Collection appear twice in Discovery?

    Answer

This is a result of a collection having identical Title and Public Name.
What you are seeing is the collection described by a combination of two elements:
    1. The collection's title (which you can see in the MARC record or in the "Resource description" field in the Electronic Collection Editor).
    2. The collection's public name.
If these fields share the same value - it appears twice.
