    Question

Why does the actual due date at checkout and the due date projected in the Fulfillment Configuration Utility differ?

    Answer

The due date at checkout reflects limitations of the patron, such as blocks or the patron's expiration date. If the expiration date for the patron is prior to the date indicated by policy, this will be reflected only at checkout.

The due date in the Fulfillment Configuration Utility directly reflects the Fulfillment policies associated with the loan and does not consider the limitations placed on the patron by other policies.
