Why is a job taking much longer to run than normal?

Answer
It is expected behavior in Alma for jobs of similar size to have varied run times. Jobs in Alma run dynamically, and can start, stop, or slow as needed to allow for other jobs to run. With this in mind, there will be jobs that sometimes complete very quickly and some that will take hours to complete. This can also sometimes depend on the amount of data processed.
Should you have a job that takes longer than 24 hours to run, please open a case in the Support Portal.
