What is happening to the databases Greenleaf Online Library (GOL) and Sustainable Organization Library (SOL)?

The databases Greenleaf Online Library (GOL) and Sustainable Organization Library (SOL) from the provider GSE Research are sold in packages by year but we have do not have them represented this way in the Knowledgebase.

Therefore, we will be changing the database names in the 360 KB knowledgebase. The contents of the databases will reflect the content for 2014. The database IDs (EP- and C.P), will remain the same.

This change will take effect on July 16:

NOTE:  The contents of the 2013 packages are available in the following databases, Greenleaf Online Library (GOL) 2013 [DBID: P4~]  and Sustainable Organization Library (SOL) 2013 [DBID: P4.]

Actions you may need to take:

• If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds the database name as it appears in the Client Center to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after July 16.
• If your library uses a third-party service (such as SFX, EBSCO A-Z, etc.), custom scripts to manage data, or other non-Serials Solutions tools that require the database name to function, you should note the change in Serials Solutions' database name in order to retain the proper relationship/mapping between those tools.
