    1. What is happening to the database JoVE Core: Molecular Biology?

What is happening to the database JoVE Core: Molecular Biology?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for two JoVE Core: Molecular Biology databases from provider Journal of Visualized Experiments in the Knowledgebase. These two databases are duplicates of each other. Subscribers should migrate to JoVE Core: Microbiology (database code ABHCU).

The duplicate databases JoVE Core: Molecular Biology from the provider Journal of Visualized Experiments are no longer being updated. In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on our Knowledgebase collection policy), these databases will be hidden in the Knowledgebase on May 19,2022. Libraries that currently subscribe to these databases will continue to have access to these databases. However if your library is not already subscribed, you will not be able to view these databases in the Knowledgebase. (NOTE: The database codes for these databases are ADQWK & AACCE.)

Databases to be retired on May 19, 2022:

    • JoVE Core: Molecular Biology, database code AACCE
    • JoVE Core: Molecular Biology, database code ADQWK

    Please subsubscribe to:

    • JoVE Core: Microbiology (Database Code ABHCU)

After May 19, 2022, JoVE Core: Microbiology (Database Code ABHCU) will change its database name to: JoVE Core: Molecular Biology. Database code and its contents will remain the same.
