360 KB: Irwin Law from Canadian Electronic Library: Database Migration -- effective Jan. 2017

What is happening to the database Irwin Law?

The provider Canadian Electronic Libary has migrated titles in Irwin Law database from eBrary site to the new desLibris plarform.

In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on the Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from Irwin Law database in the 360 Knowledgebase on January 24th, 2017 and the database will be hidden. (NOTE: The database code for this database is 3AU).

We have created a new database in the Knowledgebase that is hosted on desLibris platform. The titles are now available in desLibris - Irwin Law database.

This change will take effect on January 24, 2017:

Before January 24, 2017: Irwin Law

    • After January 24, 2017: desLibris - Irwin Law, database code BQTEA.

    Action you need to take:

    • Update the holdings in your Intota or Client Center profile by subscribing to the new database instead of the old database.  For information on how to update your profile, and considerations prior to removing the old database from your profile:
      • Intota users click here.
      • Client Center users click here.
    • If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds direct URLs or database specific information to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after January 24, 2017.
