Why are there multiple ISBN identifiers 

Bibliographic records in the Community Zone have multiple ISBNs that come sometimes from different sources.

These ISBNs have been added to one Bibliographic record but since there is no single authoritative source to match the multiple ISBN identifiers, some of the ISBNs may have been added to the wrong Bibliographic record.

There is no automatic way to these merges in bulk and confirm if they are correct, and this may cause the wrong portfolios to attach to erroneous Bibliographic records.

We are working internally to review which of the ISBNs do not match the title lists from various providers, and consider cleanup methods that will retain the correct ISBNs while removing the redundant ISBNs.
