vLex Journals Regional Collections

vLex Journals collection is available in the knowledgebases and updated automatically using the vLex_Premium-Global_AllTitles_YYYY-MM-DD.csv file available on provider’s platform.

However, this complete collection is not sold as such due to territorial restrictions, as well as academic and non-academic specific subdivisions.

vLex Journals collection allows for activating titles based on customer specific holdings to accurately represent your subscriptions. Provider has supplied KBART title lists for the regional collections as well and we have recently released the following regional journals collections:

VLEX_AUSTRALIA_JOURNALS (dbid ABLNY)
VLEX_NEW_ZEALAND_JOURNALS (dbid AGYUY)
VLEX_US_JOURNALS (dbid AGCSZ)
VLEX_UK_JOURNALS (dbid AAAUQ)
VLEX_IRELAND_JOURNALS (dbid ACTNV)

Unfortunately, KBARTs for the rest of the regional journal collections contain a lot of monograph entries and some other issues. At this point, there is no timeline from the provider to correct these. Once vLex will be able to upload accurate KBART lists for the remaining journal collections, we will add these to the knowledgebase.

Update: As of July 2024, provider still has no timeline for the correction of the KBART title lists for the remaining regional collections.
