DigiTool - How to install a new license
Overview
When renewing your Digitool product license it will be necessary to replace the text of the two license files.
Procedure
First Step
Backup the current license and license.www_x files:
$dtle_root/tab/license
$dtle_root/tab/license.www_x
Second Step
Replace the text of the above files with the new licenses sent from ExLibris Digitool Support.
Following installation of the new files
The above steps should be sufficient. But you should perform the following tests:
Run util_y_11 (options 1. Main License file, & 2. X-Server License file) to test the validity of the new files. Contact Digitool support should there be any indication of an issue.
If you encounter any functional anomalies, shut down and restart Digitool, although this is usually unnecessary:
$dtle_root/dtl_shutdown_all
$dtle_root/dtl_startup_all
