A search in Google for library name retrieves Primo address in https

    • Product: Primo
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Multi-Tenant Direct, Dedicated-Direct, Local, TotalCare

    Scenario

When searching for the library name or local DNS name in Google (for example: my-search.co.il), the result retrieved is link to Primo in https. This happens regardless Primo definition to work in https or in http, meaning, this result may appear when Primo is not defined to work in https.

    Resolution:

This happens due to Google secure index policy 'Indexing HTTPS pages by default'. The full article can be found here: Click here

From the article: "...Specifically, we’ll start crawling HTTPS equivalents of HTTP pages, even when the former are not linked to from any page."
