    • Product: Primo

      Product Version: 4.x

Relevant for Installation Type: Dedicated-Direct, Direct, Local

    Description

When SFX and ILS records are deduped, SFX records are the preferred record displayed in the dedupmrg record.
How can ILS record content be added to the metadata that is displayed in Primo?

    Resolution

    1. Change the delivery category of the SFX records to "Microform" using the Normalization Rules.
    2. Run a Update Data Source Pipe Type with Force DeDup enabled

    Additional Information

    • The ILS record will now be the preferred record in dedupmrg records
    • The fields from the ILS records will display in total
    • This may impact the delivery of existing "Microform" records
    • The SFX record will no longer make the View Online tab appear
