    Question

Does Browse Search use the same search scope as Brief Search?

    Answer

    No.
Browse Search uses institution scope as defined by the institution of the View.
This means Browse Search will always search all records belonging to the institution of View, regardless of the search scopes available in Brief Search.

    Additional Information

This is discussed in Primo Technical Guide, Chapter 16, section titled "Browse Search".
