    Question

How to configure Primo direct links for Tipasa?

    Answer

Tipasa supports direct links for ISBN, ISSN, and OCLC number.

    • For the new Primo UI, values for tab, search_scope, vid, and institution can be found in the URL after performing a search.
    • For the Primo classic UI, refer to the instructions for deep links on the Developers Network: https://developers.exlibrisgroup.com/primo/apis/deeplinks/brief

The links follow this format (Primo New UI):

    ISBN:

    https://{PRIMO DOMAIN}.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com/primo-explore/search?tab={NAME OF TAB}&search_scope={SEARCH SCOPE VALUE}&vid={VIEW ID}&institution={INSTITUTION CODE}&mode=basic&query=isbn,contains,

    ISSN and EISSN:

    https://{PRIMO DOMAIN}.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com/primo-explore/search?tab={NAME OF TAB}&search_scope={SEARCH SCOPE VALUE}&vid={VIEW ID}&institution={INSTITUTION CODE}&mode=basic&query=issn,contains,

    OCLC number:

Primo does not have a dedicated search field for OCLC number, but this can be configured as a local field. The URL should be modified to indicate the local search field (lsr) configured for OCLC number.

    https://{PRIMO DOMAIN}.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com/primo-explore/search?tab={NAME OF TAB}&search_scope={SEARCH SCOPE VALUE}&vid={VIEW ID}&institution={INSTITUTION CODE}&mode=basic&query=lsr01,contains,

    Additional Information
