What does "Citations Available" availability statement in PC records mean?

    • Product: Primo, Primo Central
    • Product Version: May 2018
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Multi-Tenant, Dedicated-Direct, Local, Total Care

    Question

What does "Citation Available" availability statement in Primo Central records mean?

    Answer

With the Primo Central Release on December 2016, records from several collections will display a new availability status of "citation_available" when no full text is available.

    The collections affected are:

    - "Index of Hebrew Periodicals" (IHP)

    - RAMBI

    - Henrietta Szold

    - Moshe Dayan Center

The new availability status was added as many of these collections' records do not have full text, but bibliographic information. With the new availability status they now will appear in the initial search results (with no need to pre-filter by no-full-text).

    Additional information

    Classic UI:

In order to change the text and color, go to: "Calculated Availability Text" code table and modify the relevant codes:

    - default.delivery.code.citation_available > Citation available
    - default.delivery.class.citation_available > getItBlack

    New UI:

In order to change the text go to: "Calculated Availability Text" code table and modify the relevant codes:

    - default.delivery.code.citation_available > Citation available

In order to change the color of the text use CSS and the customization package.
