What is the key in short permalinks?

Short permalinks take the following format:

Primo VE:

<Primo Domain>/permalink/<institution_code>/<key>/<record_ID>

Primo:

<Primo Domain>/permalink/<type>/<key>/<record_ID>

The key is a hash of the view, scope and tab parameters. The key may change depending on the view, scope, and tab that were used when the permalink was created.

The type parameter included in Primo permalink can be f when created from full or brief display or np when created from Newspaper Search.
