Configuring Authority Search for Primo VE
Introduction
The Authority Search page exposes local authority records to users. When enabled, this page enables users to search for and view local authority records configured in the library, find different names and relations between authorities, as well as find bibliographic records that are associated with a particular authority record.

Currently, we support only local authorities (not Library of Congress or Mesh).

For customers with a collaborative network set-up, if there are local authorities defined in the network, they can be searched only with the NZ View. From the IZ, it is possible to search only for local authorities owned by the IZ (not the NZ).
Authority Search Indexes
The following table lists the supported search indexes (which are configurable in the Links Menu tab on the View Configuration page) and their mappings:

Authority Search does not support Saved Search or Search History.
Brief Results
After performing an Authority Search, the matching Authority records are listed alphabetically by the term heading. The display information for each matching Authority record includes the following lines, which also appear at the top of the Authority record's Full Display page:

Term heading (1XX) – The second line of each Authority record. Selecting the term heading opens the details of the Authority record. For more information, see Full Display.

Search records with this term link – The third line of each Authority record. Selecting this link, returns all titles that use the selected authority.
