    Question

How can we use RefWorks Citation Manager (RCM) if the IT staff at our institution has blocked access to the Microsoft AppSource?

    Answer

Your IT staff can deploy the RCM add-in to users in this situation. Details can be found in the following Microsoft articles for Office 365 and non-Office 365 users:

    • Office 365 - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/admin/manage/manage-deployment-of-add-ins?view=o365-worldwide
    • non-Office 365 - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/dev/add-ins/publish/publish-task-pane-and-content-add-ins-to-an-add-in-catalog
