How do we bypass the EZproxy server for RefWorks?

Answer

Confirm that all instances of RefWorks have been removed from the config.txt file aside from the RedirectSafe entries shown below.
add two lines directly between:
************************ USER DEFINED DATABASES *************************************************
…and the first
IncludeFile databases/acm.txt
…containing:
RedirectSafe refworks.proquest.com

Reboot the server for the changes to take effect.
