    Question

Are there Rialto configuration changes needed prior to a Fiscal Year rollover in Alma?

    Answer

Currently, there is no additonal configuration needed for Rialto prior to a Fiscal Year rollover. Rialto will be able to use new ledgers and funds once they are created by the Fiscal Year rollover process. For more information on the jobs involved in this process, see Fiscal Period Closure in the Alma documentation.

Take note that the following order types are rolled over during fiscal closure:

    • Subscription orders
    • Standing orders
    • PO lines not fully invoiced or not fully paid by the end of the fiscal period
    • Resource sharing requests that have not yet been received

If you have the Fiscal Year Rollover set as a scheduled job, it may be worth pausing the automatic load of invoices in the Rialto Vendor profile before the rollover process is run.
