Leganto and Rapido Integration
If your institution uses Leganto or Rapido, Rialto Search includes additional capabilities that enhance resource discovery and access.
- Leganto enables visibility into course-related materials.
- Rapido enables libraries to borrow materials from partner institutions.
Leganto Integration
If your institution uses Leganto, Rialto Search displays course-related information alongside marketplace results. When a title in the marketplace matches an item in a Leganto list, this information appears in a dedicated Courses section within the holdings panel at the offer level.
The Courses section includes:
- Active and upcoming courses in which the item appears
- Citation status, which reflects the lifecycle of the resource (e.g., Being Prepared, Ready for Processing, Complete)
- Number of course participants
- Custom tags assigned to the item (if any)
- A link to open the citation in a side panel, where additional details are available

Rapido Integration
If your institution uses Rapido, Rialto Search enables users to check borrowing availability and initiate resource sharing requests directly from the marketplace.
When a user opens the details of a specific offer, Rialto performs a real-time check with Rapido to determine whether the title is available for borrowing. If a match is found, the Additional Resources section appears within the offer details.

This section displays:
- Libraries that can supply the item
- Lending terms for each library, including expected delivery time and loan duration
Selecting a library opens a sliding panel where users can review request details and submit a borrowing request without leaving the Rialto marketplace.
Within this panel:
- The Resource Information section displays item details
- The Request Attributes section allows users to enter request information
Only the Requester and Requested Pickup Location fields are required to submit a request. All other fields are optional, but completing them may help the lending library process the request more efficiently.
After entering the required information, select Send Directly to Partner to submit the borrowing request.
