Rialto Search provides a streamlined marketplace discovery experience directly within Alma, enabling all users to explore and evaluate resources available in the Rialto marketplace.

Rialto Search is automatically available to all Alma users and does not require activation or setup. It is accessible from Collection Development > Market.

Using Rialto Search, users can:

  • Perform basic and advanced searches of the Rialto marketplace
  • Explore curated lists of high-quality titles across a variety of subjects
  • Export search results for further review and analysis
  • Share marketplace offers with other users within their institution
  • Create purchase requests for selected items

Market searches perform real-time calls to Alma for local and network holdings to provide accurate visibility into owned access. Additional informed fulfillment capabilities, such as Rapido borrowing options and course-related information from Leganto, may be available depending on institutional configuration (see Leganto and Rapido Integration).

The full Rialto marketplace experience can be enabled by submitting a support ticket. Please read the Requirements for Using the Purchasing Component of Rialto before submitting a ticket.
