Users with the General System Administrator role can configure selected aspects of the Rialto Search experience.

To access these settings, navigate to Configuration > Collection Development. Under the General section, the following configuration pages are available: Provider Configuration and Rialto Settings.

    Provider Configuration

The Provider Configuration page provides a simplified version of the platform configuration available in the full Rialto environment. It allows administrators to control which platforms are included in Rialto Search results.

The left pane lists all electronic platforms integrated with Rialto. Administrators can toggle platforms on or off to control whether they appear as subscribed or unsubscribed in the Platform facet, which filters results by the electronic platform on which an offer is available.

Selecting a platform displays additional configuration details in the right pane, organized into the following sections:

    • General Information — Displays basic details about the selected platform, including the date it was last modified on the Provider Configuration page.
    • Configurable Fields — Contains the Show Provider Content toggle, which controls whether titles from this platform are displayed in the Rialto marketplace.
    • Read-Only Configuration — Displays informational fields that cannot be modified, including:
      • Format – Indicates whether the content is electronic or print.
      • CZ Collection ID – If the institution utilizes the Community Zone for record delivery, this displays the Alma collection ID used.
      • Auto-Holdings Enabled – Indicates whether automatic holdings updates are enabled for this provider.

    Rialto Settings

The Rialto Settings page allows administrators to manage general marketplace preferences.

In the Pricing Settings section, there are three dropdown menus: Currency, Country, and Region. These values are predefined for the institution but can be adjusted if needed.

In the Additional Configuration Settings section, there are two toggles:

    • Rialto Hide Courses Panel — Controls whether course-related information from Leganto is hidden in the holdings panel during market searches. By default, this option is set to off.
    • Rialto Search Account — Enables or disables access to Rialto Search for the institution. By default, this option is set to on. When disabled, Rialto Search is removed from the Collection Development menu.

After making changes on the Rialto Settings page, select Save (top right) to apply the updates.
