    1. Additional Information
    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Rosetta
    • Product Version: 3.2.2

    Problem Symptoms:
SIP ingesting fails when double byte characters are used in the content stream filenames.

    Cause:
SP 3.2.2 updates the .cshrc file under /exlibris/dps/d4_1/profile/ changing the LANG environment to "C".

    Resolution:
To have it work, navigate to the .cshrc file (under /exlibris/dps/d4_1/profile/), and change:
"setenv LANG C" to "setenv LANG UTF-8"
    Also change:
    "setenv LC_ALL C" to "setenv LC_ALL UTF-8"

    Additional Information

This bug was reported in Jira issue "DPS-12546"
