    Question

Will custom viewers deployed within JBoss work after SP 4.1?

    Answer

JBoss AS will be replaced by Tomcat in version 4.1 (end of 2014).
Any custom tools (e.g. viewers) deployed within JBoss will require migration to a self-deployed JBoss AS. Please note our standing recommendation to refrain from deploying any custom tools on the Rosetta application server, as this may affect Rosetta performance and cause unexpected behavior.

    Additional Information

Please see release notes for Version 4.0.1, October 2014 - under Announcements tab

External Viewers provided in the Development Netwrok can be deployed under /exlibris/dps/d4_1/system.dir/thirdparty/tomcat/webapps/
But, we recommend to deploy those outside of Rosetta application server
