    Question

Why is there a different number of files in 'Formats at Risk' report compared to 'Formats Breakdown' report for the same format?

    Answer

'Formats at Risk' report summarizes the number of objects for each format and the related risk. The results of the risk analysis processes are shown in the "Formats at Risk" report.

'Formats Breakdown' report lists in real time (from DB) breakdown of repository objects (IE, REP, FILE) by format.

In the time frame between risk analysis process was previous fired until now, new files were added to the system and are shown at ''Formats Breakdown" Report.

After running risk analysis process (at Preservation > Schedule Risk Analysis Process), the same number of files will appear in both reports per format.
