    How to solve the error: Preservation Types not valid

    Rosetta allows users to add different preservation types.

    If you want to add a new preservation type or you encounter the invalid preservation type error, please follow this article:

    Add new preservation type:

    1. Enter "Administer the system" > "General" > "All Code Tables"
    2. Edit the "Preservation Type" table and add your new preservation type 
    3. Save.
    4. The preservation type should match exactly the names in the table so please make sure there are no extra white spaces at any of them.

    How to solve the Invalid preservation type error:
    The reason for this error might be that the preservation type form the METS file does not match the preservation type at the code table.
    Please make sure the 2 preservation types match and there are no extra white spaces at any of them.
