    Question

    Where is a log of completed IE delete processes?

    Answer

    1. Connect to the application server via ssh
    2. Enter "dps_log" (without quotes) which goes to /exlibris/dps/d4_1/profile/operational_shared/logs/
    3. more server.log
    4. Search the log for "successfully deleted"

    INFO [com.exlibris.core.infra.web.common.GeneralAction] (http-0.0.0.0-1801-180) [] Info Message: IEs have been successfully deleted

    Additional Information

    More information about the deleted IE can be found in the METS that resides in the file system:
    1. Go to Data Management > Delete From Permanent > Deleted IEs List
    2. Click "view METS" for the deleted IE
    3. The deleted information is in the following section of the METS file:
