    • Product Version: 6
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Local

    Issue description

    In Rosetta version 6 the sourceMD ID was changed to comply with METS XSD requirements for type Mets ID Type (DPS-18379).

    SourceMD ID returned to getMD webservice now includes only generic text identification of the metadata object and does not include MID -  numeric identifier of the metadata record. The sourceMD ID returned to getMD webservice looks like this:

    <mets:sourceMD ID="ie-amd-source-MARC-1">

    Planned fix

    In Rosetta version 6.1. the  dmdSec / amdSec / sourceMD / structMap elements IDs in the getMD response were enriched with an MID in the following way: '{current id}-MID-{MID}'

    Example:

        'mets:dmdSec ID="ie-dmd-MID-1064"'
