    What is the Oracle DBA group name (needed for configuring 3rd party backup software)?

    Answer

    The default group name on exlibris oracle installations = 'dba'
    for example:
    oracle@oracle/product$ls -la
    drwxr-xr-x 5 oracle dba 4096 Mar 10 10:54 .
    drwxr-xr-x 7 oracle dba 4096 Oct 24 20:23 ..
    drwxr-xr-x 3 oracle dba 4096 May 4 2011 102
    drwxr-xr-t 3 oracle dba 4096 Mar 10 10:54 1122
    drwxr-xr-x 82 oracle dba 4096 Mar 29 21:56 11r2
