    Description:
    We clicked "Full Text available". Could not get any full text from any journals.

    Resolution:
    The SFX_REQUEST table is used to store data required to generate each SFX menu screen - the data on requests before it actually gets processed by the statistics module. It is not directly related to the statistics tables, so cleaning it does not result in a loss of statistical data.

    The following actions were taken:

    [1] cleaned the SFX_REQUEST table
    server_admin_util > option 5 “Statistics” -> option 6 – Clear SFX_REQUEST table
    The last 24 hours of requests are kept and users will not be affected in any way.

    [2] set up a cron job for that task
    it is also possible to schedule this table for cleaning also using server_admin_util > option 5 “Statistics” -> option 5 Schedule clearing of SFX_REQUEST table

    We recommend at least cleaning the SFX_REQUEST table once a month, preferably before running the monthly update.
    A large SFX_REQUEST table may result in the /exlibris filesystem disk space filling up and increase the time it takes to back up the instance database.
    Details can be found in the SFX System Administration Guide. Search for "Schedule Clearing of SFX_REQUEST Table".
