    Description:
We would like to remove SFXv2 from our server to free some space. Will removing this create any problems? What should we be aware of?

    Resolution:
Removing version 2 should not have any effect on your v3 installation. The only thing you should be aware of is that if you haven't saved your version 2 statistics results in an outside document such as an excel spreadsheet, or an archived file you moved to v3, your v2 statistics will be lost once you remove version 2. Here are the instructions:

    1. Log in as root.
    Type: cd /exlibris/sfx_ver
    Type: rm -rf sfx_version_2

    2. Then remove each of the version 2 instance users:
    sfx_global
    sfx_local
    sfx_test
    sfx
And any other extra version 2 users.

    3. Remove the home directories for the version 2 users (example /export/home/sfx_global)
