    Question

Why is a target that's listed last in the target precedence settings not sorting to the bottom of the list of targets in the SFX menu? The setting is taken into account for journal level requests but not article level requests.

    Answer

*The source vendor of the request is taken into account when sorting targets
*Targets that match the source will be displayed first in the menu
*This functionality takes priority over the target precedence settings
*The setting can be controlled in the SFX Admin "Menu Configuration - Other" tab
*By design this is intended to improve linking efficiency between sources and targets
