What is happening to the database The European Library?

The Conference of European National Librarians (CENL) is no longer supporting The European Library (TEL) (more information here). In order to maintain accurate and authoritative metadata, TEL content will be removed from Summon in February 2019.

This change will take effect on February 22, 2019. This means that content from this database will not be available to your patrons who use Summon. This database has not been discoverable in other services such as 360 Link and the E-Journal Portal.

    European Library, Database Code: .U2

Actions you may want to take:

    • Consider updating the holdings in your Intota or Client Center profile by un-subscribing from the database (changing the database status to Not Tracked). If your library's E-Journal Portal displays a list of your databases, and you want to continue displaying a link to this resource, then you should consider keeping the resource in your profile.
