Where do cover images and other enriched content in Summon come from?

Book and journal cover images and enriched content such as table of contents come from Syndetics.
If your library subscribes to Syndetics Classic or Syndetics Plus, have your Syndetics ID available and add it to your Summon Administration Console.
If your library does not subscribe to Syndetics, there are some free book cover images provided by Syndetics that will display for your users. Free book cover images display over HTTP, not HTTPS. Free journal cover images are not available in Syndetics.
For all libraries (Syndetics subscribers and non-subscribers), if an image is not available in Syndetics, the Summon service's generic icon (book, journal) displays.
