License Workflow step L3 should reject incorrect license code

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Verde
    • Product Version: 2

    Description:
On step L-3 of the License Workflow, in case the user enters the code of a license that exists on this same e-product (the user is supposed to enter the code of a license from another e-product) and then attempts to use the Link License function to connect an e-product to its own license in the next step (L-4), he receives the following error: "Error message: Failed to attach the e-product to the license. A link already exists."
It is not possible to change the license code in the previous step, L3. If the user attempts to correct the situation by then linking to an external license, that link is not registered by the license workflow, which is hung up on this step. It is necessary to stop the license workflow and start another one. In order to prevent this situation from occurring in the future, Verde should check the license code in step L3. If the license code exists for this same e-product, Verde should reject the code.
