When migrating from Voyager to Alma, it may be desirable to identify and review those bibliographic records where the 022 subfield a is not 8 digits.
This query, which can be run using Voyager's Prepackaged Access Reports, may help to identify malformed ISSNs or other control numbers that might be mis-tagged as an ISSN.
SELECT BIB_INDEX.BIB_ID, BIB_INDEX.INDEX_CODE, BIB_INDEX.DISPLAY_HEADING, BIB_TEXT.TITLE_BRIEF, BIB_TEXT.IMPRINT, BIB_TEXT.ISBN, BIB_TEXT.LCCN, BIB_TEXT.NETWORK_NUMBER, BIB_MASTER.SUPPRESS_IN_OPAC FROM (BIB_INDEX INNER JOIN BIB_MASTER ON BIB_INDEX.BIB_ID = BIB_MASTER.BIB_ID) INNER JOIN BIB_TEXT ON BIB_INDEX.BIB_ID = BIB_TEXT.BIB_ID WHERE (((BIB_INDEX.INDEX_CODE) Like "022A") AND ((BIB_INDEX.DISPLAY_HEADING) Not Like "####-####" And (BIB_INDEX.DISPLAY_HEADING) Not Like "####-###X" And (BIB_INDEX.DISPLAY_HEADING) Not Like "####-###x"));
