Voyager to Alma Migration Query: MFHDs Without Item Records
When migrating from Voyager to Alma, it is advisable for physical inventory to have item records attached to MFHDs. Typically, Alma prefers physical inventory to have item records, and when possible those item records to have barcodes. Physical inventory that do not have item records (and/or barcodes) may be excluded from some Alma workflows. For more information discuss this with your migration team.
The following query, which can be run using Voyager's Prepackaged Access Reports, identifies MFHDs which do not have item records.
SELECT BIB_MFHD.BIB_ID, BIB_MFHD.MFHD_ID, LOCATION.LOCATION_NAME, MFHD_MASTER.DISPLAY_CALL_NO, BIB_TEXT.TITLE, MFHD_MASTER.SUPPRESS_IN_OPAC
FROM (((BIB_MFHD INNER JOIN MFHD_MASTER ON BIB_MFHD.MFHD_ID = MFHD_MASTER.MFHD_ID) LEFT JOIN MFHD_ITEM ON MFHD_MASTER.MFHD_ID = MFHD_ITEM.MFHD_ID) INNER JOIN BIB_TEXT ON BIB_MFHD.BIB_ID = BIB_TEXT.BIB_ID) INNER JOIN LOCATION ON MFHD_MASTER.LOCATION_ID = LOCATION.LOCATION_ID
WHERE (((MFHD_ITEM.ITEM_ID) Is Null))
ORDER BY LOCATION.LOCATION_NAME, MFHD_MASTER.DISPLAY_CALL_NO;
