Voyager to Alma Migration Query: Reading (Reserve) Lists with no Course Attached
When migrating from Voyager to Alma, you may want to identify and review those Reading Lists that are not attached to any Course. When migrating to Alma, such Reading Lists may be migrated in a way that is not desirable. See the Voyager To Alma Migration Guide for additional help, or discuss this with your migration team.
This query, which you can run using Voyager Prepackaged Reports, shows those Reading Lists (expired or not) that are not attached to Courses.
SELECT RESERVE_LIST.LIST_TITLE, RESERVE_LIST.RESERVE_LIST_ID, RESERVE_LIST_COURSES.COURSE_ID
FROM RESERVE_LIST LEFT JOIN RESERVE_LIST_COURSES ON RESERVE_LIST.RESERVE_LIST_ID = RESERVE_LIST_COURSES.RESERVE_LIST_ID
WHERE (((RESERVE_LIST_COURSES.COURSE_ID) Is Null))
ORDER BY RESERVE_LIST.LIST_TITLE;
For other queries that may be useful, see my "Surviving Almanado: tips for a successful pre-implementation" presentation's Accompanying Materials.
